3D Printed Shoes Workshop

Reading about 3D printed shoes has been quite the informational experience for me since I started to write these blog posts. I have learned about different 3D printers, types of filaments, and many designs and innovations to improve the industry. However, I believe that the best way to learn about 3D shoes is by watching it in person. Our site, 3DShoes.com, is offering people a chance to attend a workshop about 3D shoes and 3D printing.

The workshop is Saturday, November 5th at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM). The campus is located in downtown Los Angeles, and the presentation will take place from 9AM to 4PM. Those interested in attending can enroll at 3DShoes.com or DanielGarciaDesign.com. The workshop will help introduce students to 3D Shoes and 3D footwear design and development. The demonstration will be done using Rhino 5 CAD software.

FIDM offers 26 accredited Bachelor’s and Associate Degree programs in design and creative business. The institute’s students collaborate with brands like bebe, Murad, Athleta, Signal Snowboards, Lacoste, GUESS, and TOMS. There is also part-time work and internships built into the curriculum. The school’s faculty is made up of talented industry professionals who bring the experience and connections into the classroom. FIDM is internationally recognized in the Fashion, Graphics, Interior Design and Entertainments Industries. This is a great location for the workshop, and will really help educate students about 3D printed shoes.
