With the world of 3D printing entering the shoe industry, it’s amazing the designs that are being created these days. United Nude and 3D Systems are collaborating during this year’s Milan design week to show off new shoe designs.
These shoes will be designed by some of the world’s leading architects and designers including Ben Van Berkel, Fernando Romero, Michael Young, Ross Lovegrove and Zaha Hadid. It’s possible we could even work with these people featured on 3DShoes.com someday.
The high heels featured will be created using the highest quality of 3D printing; selective laser sintering, and with a hard nylon and a soft rubber material. Each design show will feature up to 50 pairs of heels as limited edition creations.
Combining wearable design, functionality production methods, aesthetics and technology will bring us high heels that could completely reinvent the way they are designed. This will help both 3DShoes and other designers introduce and expand their ideas and creations all over the world.
