rux_ton really needed to organize the studio (the closet in rux_ton’s bedroom doesn’t have a lot of room) so rux_ton had this rack put up for specific clothes (hoodies, dress clothes etc) and rux_ton have a slight addiction to crocs. rux_ton couldnt find a croc specific shoe hanger, nor could rux_ton find a hanger that didn’t fail 75% of the time upon printing, or would fit my shoe size (rux_ton is 12)
So as rux_ton am super new to modeling still, rux_ton wanted to make something rux_ton could hang shoes up and keep them off the ground and clear up the floor space in this smaller studio and well
THUS THE CROC/SHOE HANGER WAS BORN! (Albeit quick and dirty, done in Blender, don’t expect perfect geometry. rux_ton have no idea how to use CAD software, and rux_ton do not have the Sketcher Addon for Blender. incase you didn’t know, someone made a free blender addon for that so if you want to try it, its on gumroad! rux_ton might actually give it a whirl because rux_ton already am very familiar with blender)
Now, now… This is my very first ever model thats for home-use (rux_ton have made some cool bits of merch for my music project) so go easy on rux_ton. rux_ton made a V2 if you need it longer. In the photos, is all V1, thing is if you put any shirts on here they will touch and rux_ton know some folks (like me) are picky about that. V2 will prevent that 🙂
As for STRENGTH, well, it works for my crocs, rux_ton haven’t tried anything heavier but as it prints full infill rux_ton feel it should be fine. If any of you would like to remix this, rux_ton absolutely do not mind! Do whatever you please! rux_ton just hope this helps someone out! rux_ton might add another version for multiple hooks but, lets slow it down and be realistic, rux_ton likely wont. BUT if you want to take the idea before rux_ton do it, go for it!
