3X Lighter, Ergonomic fit, Comfort, Sleek Luxury design, Made in Italy, Waterproof, Indoor & Outdoor, Vegan and Sustainably produced.

A first-of-its-kind, slip-on shoe that combines ultra lightweight comfort with sustainability.

As an emerging luxury brand, we partnered with distinguished Italian materials innovator, XL EXTRALIGHT® to use a new, high-quality proprietary compound SUSTAINABLE+ for our Rodeo Drive slip-on shoes.

This eco-friendly compound of the future and patented production process gives old scraps and by-products new life. You can look good and feel good – by taking a step in the right direction with the Rodeo Drive Slip Ons.

At ALES GREY™, we’re proud to be the first company to launch with XL EXTRALIGHT®’s proprietary recycled foam materials in a single-piece injected shoe. It’s entirely engineered, developed and sustainably made in Italy.

The patented machinery and technology utilized also allows a saving of 50% new mineral resources. The entire manufacturing process requires zero water consumption as the cooling system in the compound’s production is provided in a closed circuit system.

The proprietary recycled compound makes the shoes 3X lighter than any common EVA shoes.

Weighing only 0.85 lbs, the compound maintains the structural integrity to ensure the shoes offer you a great balance of lightness and durability, guaranteeing comfort at every step.

The Rodeo Drive Slip Ons are bacteria resistant because of their unique closed cell structure (no absorption of bacteria and no proliferation), which also makes them waterproof and easy to clean so your feet always feel fresh. Anti-microbial, non-slip, and doctor approved!

DR. @jefftollmd @deepakdugarmd from @modernrxpod podcast APPROVED! We’re so excited to have lent our pre-production samples of the Rodeo Drive for the DR.’s to take them for a test spin! We’re happy to say that our results came back great!

Each pair of Rodeo drive shoes are analyzed and controlled according to the highest safety standards, leading to the formulation of materials completely free of harmful materials and heavy metals.

The Rodeo Drive Slip On design is a modern update on the traditional injected footwear seen today. The clean, simple design of the shoes expands the possibilities of where to enjoy them.

Whether you’re relaxing inside or heading outside, you can enjoy comfortable shoes that are easy, effortless and stylish. Thanks to this design philosophy, we can combine the Italian tradition for style and craftsmanship with the most advanced technologies coming from aerospace and biotechnologies.

The heel strap on the back of the shoe is also designed and engineered with recycled hardware. Flip the strap up for an easy slip-on/off sandal look or flip it over your heel to ensure the shoes are secure on your feet!

ALES GREY™ is the newest luxury brand from 25+ year industry veteran and footwear expert, “Sneaker Steve” Patiño. The name ALES GREY is derived from his son’s name and is a tribute to how Patiño envisions the future of footwear and fashion with seasonal offerings for men and women.

While its headquarters are based in Los Angeles, all items are handmade in the finest artisan factories in Europe. These suppliers have been manufacturing for 50+ years, using only the best resources from Italy and Portugal to produce some of the highest quality luxury products in the world.

In late 2019, before the start of the pandemic, ALES GREY was approached by XL EXTRALIGHT® in Italy to be a part of a special program. Very shortly after, the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world. As life shut down temporarily, it became clear that we as a society began to prioritize comfort, effortlessness and quality in our everyday attire. Steve believed that developing a comfortable slip-on shoe that utilized the sustainable materialization XL EXTRALIGHT® offered would be the perfect answer. This product with a purpose would be clean, simple and sustainable; exactly where ALES GREY™ is to be positioned for the future.
