Rains Unveils Innovative Puffer Sneaker in Red

Rains, the renowned outerwear lifestyle brand, has just unveiled its latest release, the Puffer Sneaker in a vibrant red colorway. The launch of this innovative footwear follows Rains’ highly anticipated SS24 presentation, titled ‘Drenched,’ which took place during Paris Fashion Week.

In a notable collaboration with 3-D printing innovator Zellerfeld, Rains has expanded its range of print-to-order sneaker offerings. The Danish brand, known for its conceptual-meets-functional design approach and strong urban inspiration, is set to captivate sneaker enthusiasts with this groundbreaking release.

Rains has gained recognition for its unique blend of aesthetics, combining a neo-Scandinavian style with unisex collections and a consistent curation that never fails to surprise. The brand’s signature fabric identity revolves around a coated waterproof fabric palette, inspired by its initial design—a contemporary interpretation of the classic rubber raincoat. Rains has successfully brought its distinctive appeal and high-quality products to customers across four continents.

To bring the Puffer Sneaker to life, Rains joined forces with Zellerfeld, a trailblazer in 3D-printing technology. With the backing of influential entities such as Tesla, SpaceX, Paypal, and StockX, Zellerfeld aims to make printed shoes accessible to people worldwide. By leveraging their innovative manufacturing platform, Zellerfeld has eliminated the traditional factory model, empowering designers to create incredible new shoe designs. Furthermore, Zellerfeld’s footwear can be custom printed to fit the unique shape of each individual’s feet, providing unparalleled comfort. In line with their commitment to sustainability, Zellerfeld’s shoes are also fully recyclable.

The Puffer Sneaker, a highlight of the Paris Fashion Week Menswear Spring-Summer 2024 showcase, can be pre-ordered starting from Friday, the 30th of June 2023. To secure a pair of these coveted sneakers, interested customers can visit Rains Stores or order online via rains.com.
