In the fashion world, you see many interesting shoes, some that are even 3D printed. Recently, a pair of shoes were created that were a collaboration between Balenciaga and Crocs. The footwear debuted at Balenciaga’s Spring 2018 collection in Paris, France. The shoes really caught the attention of the people who attended the high fashion runway show. They have a four-inch wedge with a rounded toe and a top that is decorated with brightly colored objects, some of which include the Balenciaga’s logo, a molded rose, and the face of a dog. The shoes were shown in bright yellow, an earthy green, and a brilliant pink. Balenciaga decided to call the monster shoes “the foam shoes.”
The Crocs Senior Vice President of Global Product and Marketing Michelle Poole disclosed the brand was “intrigued.” The shoes, however, will not be available until spring of next year. The response to the shoes has thus far been mixed. Balenciaga designer Demna Gvasalia was very interested in how Crocs are made. He predicts that one day you will be able to 3D print them at home because they are all one piece. 3D printed shoes like these really catch our attention at 3DShoes.com. Uniqueness and accessibility are important factors with 3D printed footwear. The Crocs weren’t out of place with the rest of the spring collection. IT also featured camouflage tops, plaid pants, shirts with newsprint patterns, and giant shoulder bags. It has not yet been decided how much the Crocs will cost once they finally go on sale.
