Amazing Metal Detector Shoes

 

A metal detecting system is designed and packaged into footwear such that it can be worn on both feet in lieu of carrying a hand held metal detecting device. The metal detecting hardware, coil and battery are installed in its entirety inside the sole and in the shoe.  In the event that a buried metal object is found along the path of the shoe swinging in the air while walking, the buzzers will sound through spiker, headphones or mobile app to alarm the user, thus fulfilling its purpose. This Metal Detector Shoes provides a convenient method of metal detection for treasure hunters and as a toy for children to wear metal detecting shoes instead of hand held devices that are inconvenient and attract attention from passersby. 

 

Amidst the multitudes of treasure hunters, hobbyists and children that roam the beaches, woods, and ancient sites this Treasure Hunter Metal Detector Shoes would be much appreciated. Thousands scour the beaches each year in hopes of finding precious gold. For the casual treasure hunter to even the avid explorer having this shoes would be a great addition to their arsenal. Since there is no visible hand held device. Metal detecting shoes are convenient to use and draw less attention from the passersby. Instead of leaving the site with a hunched back or weary arms all that a user must do with the portable metal detecting shoe is walk around wearing them and wait for a signal. 

Metal detector shoes work by transmitting an electromagnetic field from the search coil into the ground. Any metal objects within the electromagnetic field will become energized and retransmit an electromagnetic field of their own. The detector’s search coil receives the retransmitted field and alerts the user by producing a target response. 

 

A metal detecting shoe consisting of:

– insulated wire coils for electromagnetic field generation, and field changes detection packaged inside the frontal (toe) area of ​​the sole of the shoe.

– an electronic module packaged in the middle (Fast Finder and Sand’s Worker) or heel (Mountain Walker) area of ​​the sole.

– a battery packaged in the heel area of ​​the sole like on Fast Finder and Sand’s Worker models or packaged inside a pouch that is attached to the outer upper body of the shoe like on Mountain Walker model.

– power switch mounted to the back of the shoe. 

 

The battery rechargeable by wall current or Treasure Hunter signature power bank. A recharging jack is installed inside the shoe and has magnet port for easy charger cable connecting. 

 

 Fast Finder

Fast Finder is the first model of Treasure Hunter Metal Detector Shoes. This model has audio bluetooth to your headphones and speakers, which can be disabled. Wireless connecting distance is up to 10 meters. Fast Finder has waterproof design and equipped with a LiFePo4 rechargeable battery. Coin search depth – 20 cm. 

 This model is equipped with a LiFePo4 battery, a full charge lasts for 22 hours of Treasure Hunting.  Battery indicator on the shoe will let you know when you should charge it.  

 Sand’s Worker

Sand’s Worker is the second model of Treasure Hunter Metal Detector Shoes. This model has BLE connection to your mobile phone, smart watch and headphones. Wireless connecting distance is up to 10 meters. Sand’s Worker has waterproof design and equipped with a LiFePo4 rechargeable battery. Coin search depth – 30 cm.

Like a Fast Finder, Sand’s Worker has equipped with a LiFePo4 battery, a full charge lasts for 12 hours of Treasure Hunting. 

A special feature of this model is Metal Detecting Shoes iOS and Android application that controls communication with shoes. With this mobile app you can connect your headphones and/or smart watch and get a target signal about the metal under your feet. Mobile app works in underground mode means no need to hold the phone in hands constantly. This is very useful when you don’t want to attract attention of passersby.

 Mountain Walker

Mountain Walker is the third model of Treasure Hunter Metal Detector Shoes. This model has BLE connection to your mobile phone, smart watch and headphones. Wireless connecting distance is up to 10 meters. Mountain Walker has waterproof design and equipped with a LiFePo4 rechargeable battery. Coin search depth – 30 cm.

Like a Sand’s Worker, Mountain Walker has equipped with a LiFePo4 battery, a full charge lasts for 24 hours of Treasure Hunting, battery packaged inside a pouch that is attached to the outer upper body of the shoe to give the user opportunity to replace the batteries on the go for long lasting Treasure Hunting.  

Mountain Walker connects with Metal Detecting Shoes iOS and Android application with the same features as Sand’s Worker. Metal Detecting Shoes iOS and Android application controls communication with shoes. With this mobile app you can connect your headphones and/or smart watch and get a target signal about the metal under your feet. Mobile app works in underground mode means no need to hold the phone in hands constantly. This is very useful when you don’t want to attract attention of passersby.

This hiking shoes are good for walking through woods, weald or in the mountains and can be the best friend to find gold nuggets or meteorites.

 

Brain of metal detecting hardware in Sand’s Worker & Mountain Walker is an ESP32 module.  ESP32 is a low-power system on a chip microcontrollers with integrated Wi-Fi and dual-mode Bluetooth. The ESP32 employs a dual-core microprocessor. ESP32 is created and developed by Espressif Systems, a Shanghai-based Chinese company. This little assistant does all the calculations and transfers the data via Bluetooth Low Energy technology (BLE) to the phone device.

With all the efforts we have developed a metal detector PCB to assemble with ESP32 module. We spent hours in developing and selecting the right components for PCB.

After great work done, we are able to create a truly unique device and now it is ready to serve all treasure hunters in our Metal Detector Shoes.

Our main goal is to assemble the most reliable PCB, mount the correct components and reduce the size to fit into the sole of the shoe.  And we proud to archive!

In such a specific device as Metal Detector Shoes, reliability and safety are essential. We have selected the most reliable and safe batteries available at the moment – LiFePO4. These batteries are very reliable and have a long service life of 2,000-12,000 charge / discharge cycles.

 

LiFePO4 (also known as Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries are a huge improvement over lead acid in weight, capacity and shelf life. The LiFePO4 batteries are the safest type of Lithium batteries as they will not overheat, and even if punctured they will not catch on fire. The cathode material in LiFePO4 batteries is not hazardous, and so poses no negative health hazards or environmental hazards. Due to the oxygen being bonded tightly to the molecule, there is no danger of the battery erupting into flames like there is with Lithium-Ion. The chemistry is so stable that LiFePO4 batteries will accept a charge from a lead-acid configured battery charger. LiFePO4 life expectancy is approximately 5-7 years.

 

Lithium-Ion batteries and Lithium Polymer batteries are the most energy dense of the Lithium batteries, but they are lacking in safety. The most common type of Lithium-Ion is LiCoO2, or Lithium Cobalt Oxide. In this chemistry, the oxygen is not strongly bonded to the cobalt, so when the battery heats up, such as in rapid charging or discharging, or just heavy use, the battery can catch fire. To help counteract this problem, devices that use Lithium-Ion and Lithium Polymer batteries are required to have extremely sensitive and often expensive electronics to monitor them. While Lithium Ion batteries have an intrinsically high energy density, after one year of use the capacity of the Lithium Ion will have fallen so much that the LiFePO4 will have the same energy density, and after two years LiFePO4 will have significantly greater energy density. Another disadvantage of these types is that Cobalt can be hazardous, raising both health concerns and environmental disposal costs. The projected life of a Lithium-Ion battery is approximately 3 years from production.

 

Based on the research data, we decided to use the safe LiFePO4 rechargeable batteries.

The Fast Finder model is equipped with a magnetic charging cable that makes it easy to connect power to battery charging.

 Like the Fast Finder model, Sand’s Worker is equipped with a magnetic charging cable that makes it easy to connect power to battery charging.

Mountain Walker has equipped with a LiFePo4 batteries in charge case. Battery packaged inside a pouch that is attached to the outer upper body of the shoe so give user opportunity not only charge battery but also replace the batteries for faster back to Treasure Hunting.

All Treasure Hunter Metal Detector Shoes models has Bluetooth connection functionality.  The Fast Finder model has Bluetooth 5.0 module to send audio sounds of detected items to your headphones. Sand’s Worker & Mountain Walker have BLE 5.0 as using ESP32 in hardware to send data to mobile device.

 

The use of bluetooth technology in the treasure hunting opens up new opportunities, and with the Metal Detector Shoes we were able to make a product of high technological quality that allows the user to make daily activities and at the same time search for the treasures!

 Sand’s Worker and Mountain Walker models work with the Metal Detecting Shoes mobile application, available for iOS and Android. The microcomputer of the metal detector communicates via BLE with the mobile application and transmits all values and signals for detecting metal objects, the mobile application analyses the received data and display it on the screen.  You can easily connect bluetooth headphones and smart watches to your phone and track signals coming from sensitive detectors of shoes.  There is no need to hold the phone in your hands – the application works in the background mode, so you can simply close the application and hide the phone and you will still receive signals through your smartwatch or bluetooth headphones.

 We have developed the most convenient and intuitive application, there are no complicated settings in it – all settings of the coil and search modes are automatic and do not require any special actions from the user.  We are constantly working on app improvement and looking forward to receive comments and wishes from our fellow Treasure Hunters. 

 

 

One of the obligatory features of our shoes is water resistance. This is especially important for beach treasure searches where you can get in the water at any time. 

 

Metal Detector Shoes have waterproof components and assembled the way its electronics and battery are totally protected. This allows the metal detecting shoes to be worn during rain or beach searches without fear to ruin the shoes.

 Our shoes are strong, withstand the weight of their wearer and keep the internal components of the detector protected. We created and tested our Metal Detector Shoes for shock destruction. We have done hard work to develop the most stable and durable structure of the shoes.
